Friday, April 4th

5am swim sure did start out slow. Not sure why, but after 10 laps it went a lot better. I got in 1900 yds (38 laps) this morning. That was my long swim for the week. If you notice, that is shorter than my long swim from last week. The next few weeks are going down in distance but hopefully faster. And that was the case today, I was about 1.5 seconds faster per 100 yds. Then once the distance starts to go back up, then the speed should stay also.

Then at 5pm, I finally got my run workout in for the week. It was a 5 miler that included 4 x 0.5 miles hard with 0.5 miles easy between each. I was pleased with my pace again. Things are looking better on the run, just need to keep it up.

Saturday is supposed to be a very nice spring day & we have a long bike run scheduled. Hope to ride to Columbus & back. Maybe the roads won't be flooded. Ran into one road Wednesday night that was flooded. If so, we'll just go a different way. We'll see what happens.
