Sunday, July 27th

Week 25 is now done. Wow, seems to be flying by. Raceday is 5 weeks away. I am ready for it to be here. Training for an Ironman is mentally & physically draining. I have one week of tough training left, then 4 weeks of tapering. Tapering is basically cutting training time down 25% each week. It is about keeping the intensity up, but also getting more rest so your body is ready for raceday.


Here is the total after 25 weeks.

Swim - 68.7 miles
Bike - 2273.3 miles
Run - 359.5 miles
